CHARLOTTE

Ricordo con chiarissima precisione il pensiero che si concretizzo' nella mia mente quella mattina estiva e torrida d'agosto,che nella lontana "Terra del Sol Levante" è tanto caldo da distruggerti le membra. Ero a Yokohama , lì , in una minuscola stanza,con a fianco mio marito , giapponese e ancora dormiente .
Ero in compagnia di tutto il peso di una societa', che mi opprimeva , e un senso di solitudine interiore che mi affliggeva.
E fu cosi'che il desiderio di un "cucciolo caldo" si fece strada nel mio cuore .
Cosi'pensai : " UNO YORKY , SOLO LUI VOGLIO ,  NULL'ALTRO !!! "
Il giorno stesso mi detti da fare per cercare un cucciolo , ma poiche' in Giappone non esistono riviste di annunci con i numeri di telefono degli inserzionisti,dovetti decidere per una via un po piu' inusuale : internet . Eh , sì , proprio cosi' , fu su internet che trovai il mio grande amore : CHARLOTTE !!!
La sua allevatrice mi mando' le foto di Charlotte via e-mail , e fu subito un colpo di fulmine .
Charlotte aveva solo 45 giorni , quando andai a prenderla , era minuscola , pesava solo 600 gr.
Viveva in una casa strana , piena di cani di varie razze , una vera "casa di cani " ( nel senso peggiore della parola ) ... ma lei era così dolce ,che il mio cuore fu rapito .
Charlotte ha vissuto con me , al mio fianco , dandomi grande conforto quando eravamo in Giappone , e mi rese sopportabile anche l'insopportabile .
Ora lei mi ha seguito qui , fino in Italia , e nonostante il lungo viaggio , si e' subito ambientata nella patria della sua mamma umana , cioè io . Ma cio' per lei e' naturale , perche' per lei come per me la felicita' è là dove l'una puo' stare con l'altra !

I remember with very clear precision the thought which formed in my mind that very hot August summer morning , that only in the faraway
" Land of the Rising Sun " can destroy your strength .
I was in Yokohama in a tiny room with my husband , Japanese and still asleep , beside me .
I was in the company of all the weight of a society that oppressed me and a feeling of loneliness inside that made me suffer .
This is how the desire of a " warm puppy " crept into my heart .
So I thought :
" A YORKY , I ONLY WANT A YORKY , NOTHING ELSE !!! "
That same day I started to look for a puppy but in Japan there are no magazines with adverts which give the advertisers' phone numbers . So I had to take another more unusual road : internet .Well it was in this way that I found my great love Charlotte on internet !!!
Her breeder sent me Charlotte's photos by e-mail and it was love at first sight .
Charlotte was only 45 days old when I went to fetch her : she was tiny and weighed only 600 grms .
She lived in a strange house , full of dogs of various breeds , a real " dog house " ( in the worst sense of the word ) ...... but she was so sweet that she captured my heart .
Charlotte lived by my side , giving me great comfort while we were in Japan , and she made the unbearable , bearable .
Now she has followed me here to Italy , and in spite of the long journey , she has immediately made herself at home in the homeland of her human Mummy , i.e. me .
But this is all natural to her , because for both of us happiness is where we can be with each other !
